I first thought I will write a long-winded post describing the picture and all that and then I saw Voltaire invisibly tapping by shoulder and reminding me that the secret of being a bore is to tell everything. Leaving it this way would also amount to respecting the intelligence of my audience - which I always think is the mark of a good creator.

Interpretation - A friend's. If she were a guy, I would have said 'You're a better man than I am, Gunga Din!'. I would gladly give an arm and leg to have made the observation myself.
Note: I don't believe in Valentine's Day.

Till last year .. i also didn't believe it...
What is belief? i'd say my belief is based upon my experience..
And this experience needs 2 .. so .. B2

The many birds in that live wire suggests that there is no concept of a "couple" among birds, akin to not having honour among thieves. All of them are sitting so close to each other that it tantamounts to violating a couple's private/personal space - highly atypical of what you would expect on Valentine's Day.
The devil in my mind is grinning from ear to ear and suggests (not me mind you, it is the devil which suggests) that there might be an orgy in the offing? :-)
Did you come back after some time and check how many birds were still perched on that wire and how many had got a "jhatka" from all that high tension flowing in that wire?
Hope you had a good Valentine's day.
Cheers
